Build your own NBA projections
Start from the Crow’s projections and change what you believe. Every number updates as you tap, and teammates pick up what a benched player leaves, so the totals still fit a real game.
How it works
-
1. Start from the Crow
Every number begins as the Crow’s projection. You change only what you disagree with, and each player shows how far you are from the Crow.
-
2. Change what you believe
Sit a star and his minutes go to his teammates. Give a player more minutes and the others lose some, so the team still plays 240. You can also set each game’s pace, and how much recent form and matchups count.
-
3. Keep five builds
Save five builds per sport, compare any two (or one against the Crow) and download your projections as a CSV.
-
4. Publish and get scored
Publish your projections with the changes behind them. Once the games are over, each published build gets a Crow score that says whether it landed closer than the Crow.

His minutes go to the teammates who would get them. With Pro you can change anything on the slate, see floors and ceilings, and publish your build.

Questions
- What is the projection builder?
- A Pro tool for making your own NBA fantasy projections. It starts from SportCrow’s projections (the Crow’s) and applies your changes to who sits, minutes, pace, recent form and matchups, and every number updates as you make them.
- Do my changes keep the numbers realistic?
- Yes. A team’s minutes still add up to a full game. A player who sits hands his minutes to his teammates, and a bigger role comes out of the others’ minutes. Nobody plays more than 44 minutes, so a team needs at least six players who play.
- Can I describe changes in plain English?
- Yes. Type something like “the star sits, this game is a shootout, trust recent form” and the Crow turns it into changes you can see and undo one by one.
- What is the Crow score?
- Once every game on a slate is final, a published build is scored the way the accuracy page scores the Crow, by the typical miss on fantasy-relevant players in games that started after it was published. A positive score means the build landed closer than the Crow.
- Who can see published builds?
- Everyone can view and like them. Building, saving, comparing, exporting and publishing are part of SportCrow Pro.
- Does the export include DFS salaries?
- No. The CSV has your projections (median, floor and ceiling) and the Crow’s median for every player on the slate.
